Line Seven was established during the 1980's, with the technical co-operation from Raymond Coppa. The brand was initially created just for soccer shoes market. However, later the company decided to expand its product range in the market, and a large range of Line Seven trekking shoes and footwear were introduced.
Now, with Patric Valencant as the technical advisor, Line Seven has become the leader brand for the trekking and hiking footwear in France.
Line Seven has been sponsoring several team from the first football division in France for the past few years, these teams include Bordeaux and Auxerre.
The choice for the name Line Seven was to provide a dynamic logo to the brand, while the number seven is consider to be a lucky number.
